ACC Drama Department Staging Summer Run of Edward Albee's Three Tall Women

The Drama Department of the Austin Community College will stage a summer stock production of Three Tall Women by Edward Albee.  Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1994, the enduring examination of loss - and our ability to go on in spite of it - runs June 14th through 24th in the Gallery Theatre at the Rio Grande campus.

Both haunting and humorous, the play follows the travails and disappointments of three contemporary women--how they live, how they love, what they settle for and how they die.  Directed by ACC Drama faculty member Marcus McQuirter, the play comes from the Native Texas playwright who created classics such as Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf?, The Zoo Story and The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?
Performances will run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students, and will be available at the box office starting 30 minutes prior to each performance.
The Gallery Theatre is located on the third floor of the Rio Grande campus main building, on the corner of 12th Street and Rio Grande in downtown Austin.  For more information, call (512) 223-3240 or visit www.AustinCC.edu/drama.
