The Scottish Rite
Children's Theatre prepares to take a trip down the rabbit hole
with a new production of Alice in
Wonderland. The children's
play runs from February 6th through March 28th.
Written and directed
by Michael McKelvey - and based on Lewis Carroll's classic
story - the interactive show has a unique twist, and is geared
for young audiences ages three through ten.
After falling asleep
during a history lesson, Alice decides to share her dream with
the rest of the class. The great adventure travels
through a talking door to meet the White Rabbit, attend a tea
party with the Mad Hatter, chat with a Cheshire Cat, and
discover a Queen who loves croquet.
Weekday erformances
run Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., with an added show on Thursday,
February 25th, at 10:30 a.m. Weekend performances are
Saturdays at 10 a.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for
adults, $8 for children ages one through 12, and $4 for
infants under one year. Discounts for groups of 10 or
more are also available.
