Japanese smooth
jazz/new age keyboardist and composer Keiko Matsui enjoys a
career spanning three decades, during which time she has
released twenty CDs and received international acclaim.
The artist plays two shows on Friday March 12th, at One
World Theatre.
Matsui’s compositions
shimmer in a most natural way, blending artful elements of
jazz, blues, and the traditional music of her native Japan.
Her albums have sold in the millions, as well as being
recognized as Billboard's “Number One Contemporary Jazz
Artist” and Oasis Smooth Jazz Award’s “Best
Female Artist” for two consecutive years. Her
stunning live shows have earned legions of fans worldwide and
made her a favorite with concert halls and jazz festivals.
Keiko Matsui performs
two shows on April 10th, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Doors
open one hour early with half price drink specials available at
the bar prior to the show.
