Locked in the Arms of a Crazy Life:
poems by Charles Bukowski
Austin Community College
October 4th through 13th
ACC Rio Grande Campus Mainstage Theater

The Drama Department of the Austin Community College opens their new season with Locked in the Arms of a Crazy Life: peoms by Charles Bukowski.  Directed by ACC Artistic Director, Shelby Brammer, the production runs  in the Gallery Theatre at the Rio Grande campus.
An American poet, novelist and short story writer, Charles Bukowski was influenced by his home city of Los Angeles.  His work reflects the ordinary day-to-day existence of people on the lower rungs of society, combining “the confessional poet’s promise of intimacy with the larger-than-life aplomb of a pulp-fiction hero."
Performances will run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students, and will be available at the box office starting 30 minutes prior to each performance.
The Mainstage Theatre is located on the second floor of the Rio Grande campus main building, on the corner of 12th Street and Rio Grande in downtown Austin.  For more information, call (512) 223-3240 or visit
