September 20th through October 20th
Hyde Park Theatre

Hyde Park Theatre will stage the Austin debut of Middletown, the new Our Town-inspired take on 21st Century life from Will Eno, author of Hyde Park Theatre's award-winning production of Thom Pain (based on nothing).   The production runs September 20th through October 20th.
The New York Times praised the play's "screwball lyricism" calling it "delicate, moving and wry."  The production won the Horton Foote Prize for "Promising New American Play" when it debuted in 2010 at the Vineyard Theatre.  His play Thom Pain (based on nothing) was a finalist for the 2004 Pulitzer Prize in Drama.
Directed by Ken Webster, the Hyde Park Theatre production features Marc Balester, Emily Erington, Molly Fonseca, Tom Green, Jessica Hughes, Dane Krager, Rebecca Robinson, Benjamin Summers, Katy Taylor, Mical Trejo and Ken Webster.
Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m.  Tickets for Friday and Saturday performances are $20 for general admission and $18 for students, seniors and military.  Tickets for the final weekend - October 18th through 20th - are $22 for general admission and $20 for students, seniors and military.
