The dou's original sound of samba-funk, bossa-nova, reggae and maracatu styles blend with rock, jazz and electronica.  The result is bed of Brazilian guitar chords and electronic ambience.
Special guests Nico Tea on bass, Fumi Hirohito on electric guitar, and Luiz Coutinho on percussion will sit in with Os Alquimistas for the EsquinaTango event.  The musicians will also be joined by Phillip Vieux on saxophone and flute, and Christian Fernandez on guitars, bass, percussion, and vocals.
