   The international dance sensation Tap Dogs returns to Austin for one show at The Long Center on Tuesday, September 9th, at 7:30 p.m.  The rough, tough, rocking theatrical entertainment has been a howling success all around the world and is the winner of 11 international awards.
     Now, 18 years since its conception, Tap Dogs still fills theatres across the globe. Part theatre, part rock concert, part construction site, Tap Dogs continues to draw audiences with its unique theatrical performance, one that combines the strength and power of workmen with the precision and talent of tap dancing.
    The show is set on a construction site in the steel work's town of Newcastle, just north of Sydney, Australia.  Eight members of the Tap Dogs team - six dancers and two musicians - who combine their skills to create one incredible live theatrical performance.  Performing in water, upside-down and jumping through scaffolding, the cast move to the groove of their own beat as the team work together to bring the steel-works alive.
