Steel Magnolias
Un-named Theatre Project
October 18th through 20th
Lockett Banquet Room

Founded by Austin theatre veterans Olin Meadows, Cathie Sheridan, Matthew Charles Burnett and several others, The Un-Named Theatre Project will launch its inaugural season of the "Georgetown Dinner Theatre" series with a 25th anniversary staging of Steel Magnolias.  Running October 18th through 20th, the production will be staged at the historic Lockett Building banquet room inside Burger University in downtown Georgetown.
The new interactive dining and entertainment experience will combine dinner by Chef Alan Grimsley of Burger University with professional theatre productions by the Un-Named Theatre Project.  The inaugural production of Steel Magnolias by playwright Robert Harling will be co-directed by Matthew Charles Burnett and Olin Meadows, who directed the show in early 2011 to a sold out run at the Sam Bass Theatre in Round Rock.  Actresses Cathie Sheridan, Cici Barone, Megan Henderson and Joan Baker will return from that production, with Trina Sherman and Mary Kennelly joining the original cast.
The Un-Named Theatre Project's full season of plays and musical performances will also include a Christmas musical revue, the Texas drama The Trip to Bountiful by playwright Horton Foote and the musical revue And the World Goes 'Round, featuring the music of John Kander and Fred Ebb (Cabaret, Chicago, The Rink).   The season concludes with The Oldest Profession, a racy adult comedy about turning a buck in a rough economy.
Individual tickets for the Georgetown Dinner Theatre will be $30 per person, which includes both the meal and performance.  Season tickets are also available for $120, which include five tickets for the year to use at any performance, in any combination.
The Lockett Banquet Room is located at 119 West 7th Street in Georgetown, inside Burger University.  For more information, call (512) 468-0610 or email unnamedtheatreproject@gmail.com.
