A Year with Frog and Toad
Southwestern University Sarofim School of Fine Arts
November 16th through 18th
Jesse H. and Mary Gibbs Jones Theater

The Southwestern University Sarofim School of Fine Arts  stages their “Theatre for Young Audiences” production for 2012, featuring the Broadway musical A Year with Frog and Toad.  The production will run from November 16th through 18th at the Jesse H. and Mary Gibbs Jones Theater.
The whimsical story features two great friends - the cheerful and popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad - through four fun-filled seasons.  Written by brothers Robert and Willie Reale and based on the well-known children's stories by Arnold Lobel, the show original opened on Broadway in 2003 and broke new ground by bringing professional children's theatre to Broadway - earning the show a Tony Award nomination for "Best Musical."
Performances will be staged Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m., with a morning performance on Saturday at 10 a.m. Tickets range from $10 to $14.
The Jesse H. and Mary Gibbs Jones Theater is located at 1001 East University Avenue, in the Fine Arts Center on the Southwestern University campus in Georgetown.  For tickets and more information, call (512) 863-1378 or visit www.southwestern.edu/boxoffice.
