June 15, 2010 - M2 Lounge in the Warehouse District
Restaurateur Joe Reynolds is transforming his Saba Blue Water Café space - located at 208 W. 4th Street, next door to Cedar Street - into the new M2 Lounge.  The revamped space will be positioned as a gay and lesbian lounge, complete with handcrafted cocktails and an

expanded menu.
Reynolds has recruited local chefs Mat Clouser (Vespaio, Uchi, Kenichi) and Mark Strouhal (Whole Foods, Mansion at Judges Hill, Kenichi) to create modern American cuisine offerings - mainly small plates - with an emphasis on global flavors and techniques combined with an emphasis on local ingredients.   Menu selections will include beet chips with green olive dust, local grilled peaches with Round Rock honey, and even antelope kabobs with grilled watermelon.
M2 will also feature a big selection of hard-to-find affordable wines, along with craft beers and a variety of excellent spirits and simple, elegant cocktails.  Reynolds said that M2 is designed to be "a chef driven concept with eyes on providing lounge couture cuisine to a wide variety of patrons in the Warehouse District.
The doors officially open on June 18th. For more information, visit www.m2atx.com.
